For once, I think I'm supporting SM in their actions. Since Mnet and SM has feud, it's totally possible that MAMA's winner selection system is unfair. Totally 100% possible. Taking the example of SNSD, having topped the charts for nine weeks with "Gee" yet not winning a single time on M! Countdown....... Looks like Mnet doesn't want SM artists to win huh? It's alright, SM can boycott MAMA. Without a few of Korea's most popular groups (SJ, SHINee, SNSD), I'm quite eager to know what MAMA will do. After all, SM artists ain't gonna win because Mnet doesn't want them to win, right? SO WHAT FOR FANS PAY TO CAST A VOTE FOR THEIR IDOLS? I bet ELFs are willing to pay billions, just for SJ, yet even if SJ has the highest number of votes, they won't win. MAMA, you're smart in leeching money from ELFs, SHINee World, Shoshis, and f(x) fans. Well done, but not quite so. SM made a right choice to have them withdraw from the nominee list. ELFs, don't spend too much money, energy and time on this voting thing, no use, no use.
So now MAMA says "If we were to try and exclude artists of certain company, we wouldn't have put artists of those companies on our candidate list to begin with. Also, we would be risking our reputation and fairness if we were to change things just because major entertainment companies disagree with our system. If companies keep complaining about year end ceremonies, then such event cannot exist. The point of this ceremony is celebration by all artists who shined this year with their hard work, so I wish that artists would forget about receiving award or not and just put on an amazing show." A representitive even said "Requiring fans to pay a fee to vote was to prevent fans from casting multiple votes on specific artists. It was not done for profit. We are planning on donating profit earned from the voting process back to the music industry." Well you know what? You include SJ, SHINee, SNSD and f(x) JUST to earn more profit. I'm fcking positive about that. You think paying a fee would easily prevent fans from casting multiple votes on specfic artists? Shallow minded, such a failure, seriously. When you find an excuse from leeching money from fans, please use an excuse that is foolproof. That excuse, is wayyyyyy lamer than what I thought you'd try to give. MAMA is bullshit, bloody cow.
